Research, design and product development.
The dress lamp emerged from the exploration of the properties and capabilities of Tyvek, a resistant material made of high-density polyethylene fibers that, when used as a light filter, resembles paper.
After several tests, applying folding techniques typical of the clothing manufacture, we managed to build a lamp from flat circles of different diameters: when folded they form volumes that when stacked, generate different layers of light.
The screen, cut in CNC, is removable and maintains its folding by means of a pressure clip.
The base is in solid chestnut and the ceiling support is in cut and welded steel.
